About the role

Perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or medication prescribing; disability determinations are made by the VA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person disability assessments
  • Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal
  • Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Psychology license

Skills

  • Proficiency with electronic documentation and web-based portals
  • Strong analytical, time management, and empathetic interpersonal skills

Schedule

Part-time, primarily two days per week, in-person with an average caseload of four Veterans per day. Equipment such as a computer and documentation tools are provided. This role offers a structured schedule with no on-call duties.
