About the role

Perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Conduct in-person disability assessments, review electronic medical records via a secure web portal, and accurately document exam findings on required VA forms.

Responsibilities

• Review behavioral health records and perform comprehensive assessments without providing treatment or prescribing medication.
• Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
• Utilize electronic documentation tools and web-based portals efficiently.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Strong analytical and time management skills to meet assessment deadlines.
