About the role
Perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
- Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
- Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.
This role does not involve treatment or medication prescribing.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
- Active, unrestricted Psychology license.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and web-based portals.
- Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.
- Compassionate, professional, and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
Schedule
Part-time, in-person position with an average caseload of four Veterans per day.
