Clinical Psychologist (1099 Independent Contractor) Job location: Pikeville, KY Job type: Part time (1099 role) Shifts: Flexible Job Description We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Licensed Clinical Psychologists to join our team as Medical Disability Evaluators. In this evaluation-focused role, you will conduct comprehensive disability compensation evaluations and provide objective, evidence-based clinical opinions in accordance with applicable regulatory and clinical standards. This is an evaluation-only position and does not involve prescribing medications, providing active treatment, or maintaining ongoing continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive, structured disability compensation evaluations through virtual telehealth platforms.Review relevant medical records, clinical documentation, and supporting evidence.Obtain appropriate clinical histories and perform thorough psychological assessments.Document clinical findings accurately and efficiently using standardized templates and established guidelines.Prepare clear, objective, and evidence-based medical opinions.Provide appropriate causation analyses based on clinical evidence and applicable regulatory standards. Qualifications Education & Licensure: Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) in the state of residence.Board Eligible or Board Certified, as applicable.Clinical experience conducting psychological assessments and/or evaluations is strongly preferred. Required Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and evaluation skills.Exceptional clinical documentation and report-writing abilities.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to develop objective, well-supported clinical opinions.Strong understanding of clinical standards and regulatory requirements.Comfortable working independently in an evaluation-only environment.Proficiency with electronic medical records and telehealth technology.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage a structured workload while meeting documentation and reporting deadlines.
