Clinical Project Manager - 173754

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to support a growing client in the clinical research industry in the United States. The role is fully remote and ideal for an experienced clinical research professional with a strong background managing global studies, financial oversight, and CRO operations across Phase I‑III clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Phase I‑III clinical trials from study start‑up through closeout, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are achieved.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while driving operational success across global study teams.
• Manage study budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring projects remain within scope and aligned with contractual obligations.
• Lead bid‑defense meetings and support business development initiatives by contributing operational expertise and strategic planning.
• Identify and mitigate study risks, monitor project performance metrics, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Research, Life Sciences, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• 4+ years of clinical trial management experience within a CRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and experience overseeing Phase I‑III studies, preferably large global trials.
• Experience participating in bid defenses and supporting business development management activities.
• Proven ability to manage financial oversight, study budgets, and project forecasting.

Pay

$140,000 – $170,000 annually
