The Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at Hunter College is a leading nursing institution within the City University of New York (CUNY). The School of Nursing seeks a Clinical Professor for the Nurse Anesthesia Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner DNP Program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and teach courses, including clinical instruction
- Mentor students
- Contribute to service to the school, college, university, and profession
- Participate in committees and assignments
- Support the mission and strategic goals of the School of Nursing, Hunter College, and CUNY
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in nursing or master’s degree in nursing with a doctoral degree in a related field
- New York State license as a registered nurse required or following hire
- National certification/recertification as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA)
- Five (5) years of CRNA clinical experience, preferably serving underresourced communities
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- A commitment to health equity and belonging for all
- Academic teaching experience and scholarship that aligns with the School's mission and strategic goals
Pay
Salary range: $109,898 - $155,388, commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
