Clinical Pharmacy Specialist II Oncology $20K Hiring Incentive

About the role

This position manages outpatient oncology and medical pharmacy services, collaborates with medical staff, participates in committees, conducts MUEs, formulary reviews, and supports organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages oncology and medical pharmacy services
• Improves patient outcomes, optimizes drug therapy, reduces costs
• Participates in Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee
• Conducts medication use evaluations, formulary reviews, reports
• Manages or implements new procedures and protocols
• Integrates clinical oncology pharmacy services with IT
• Supports projects related to clinical oncology pharmacy services
• Provides ongoing instruction and training in oncology endeavors
• Assists in order-entry and dispensing processes

Requirements

• Master in healthcare related field; PharmD preferred
• 2+ years direct oncology experience; 5+ years preferred
• Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) within 1 year of hire

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Pharmacist (RPh)

Skills

• Knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computers
• Proficient use of keyboarding, mouse, and other computer functions
