Position Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist participates in the provision of rational, cost-effective pharmaceutical care utilizing sound pharmaceutical and professional ethics. Decisions are made independently or in collaboration with others. This position has access to patient, financial and organizational confidential information, non-controlled and controlled medications and certain hospital funds.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Educational Degree: Graduate of a BS or PharmD ACPE Accredited Program in Pharmacy
• Major/Area of Concentration: Pharmacy
• Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Ohio.
• Applicable current Pharmacy Board Certification and/or PGY1 residency.
• Required Experience: 3-5 years Applicable experience in pharmacy with demonstrated history of clinical leadership and initiative.
