About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland works at the center of interdisciplinary care, collaborating directly with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy support staff within the in-patient hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Overtake the preparation and dispensing of medications, performing medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system.
• Offer clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions.
• Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
• Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required.
• Experience in Oncology pharmacy preferred.
