About the role
CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Health Science Specialist, specifically a Clinical Pharmacist, to assure the safe and appropriate use of drugs in patients. This role involves applying specialized knowledge in patient care, interpreting pharmacologic data, and engaging in direct interprofessional interactions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and appropriate use of drugs in patients
- Apply specialized knowledge in patient care
- Interpret pharmacologic data and patient-specific involvement
- Engage in direct interprofessional interactions
- Work in a patient-oriented, disease-oriented, drug-oriented, and interdisciplinary capacity
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program with current licensure as a pharmacist in state of practice
- Preferably completed an ASHP accredited residency program or other advanced training
- Ability to use the Pharmacy computer system at an acceptable level after training
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
- Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and identify patient requirements
- Willingness to work a rotation shift and accept "call back"

Pay
$100,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications
