Under the direction of the Central Team Leader and Manager for Clinical Services, ensures optimum patient outcomes related to medication use by preventing or resolving drug-related problems and coordinating the acquisition, distribution, and control of all drug therapy to patients under the care of the pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Prevent or resolve drug-related problems to optimize patient outcomes.
- Coordinate the acquisition, distribution, and control of all drug therapy for patients.
Requirements
- PharmD degree (or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience).
- Licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility within 45 days of hire).
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, physicians, nurses, and hospital staff.
Pay
Compensation range: $43.03–$62.50 per hour. This range is based on minimum job qualifications and considers factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Geographic location may modify the range.
