Clinical Pharmacist - Madison Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy Department - PT - Varied Shift
About the role
Maintains accurate and up-to-date drug therapy records to ensure optimal patient outcomes and care quality. Recommends appropriate pharmacotherapeutic alternatives based on patient needs and conditions. Ensures accurate and efficient medication distribution while adhering to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date drug therapy records
- Recommend appropriate pharmacotherapeutic alternatives
- Ensure accurate and efficient medication distribution
- Implement and evaluate nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens
- Supervise pharmacy technical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree from an accredited university
- Licence to practice pharmacy in Alabama
- Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience
- AHA BLS certification or obtainable by the end of the orientation period
