About the role
Maintains drug therapy to enhance patient outcomes and care quality, suggests effective and economical pharmacological alternatives, and ensures accurate and swift medication delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintains drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and care quality
- Suggests effective and economical pharmacological alternatives
- Ensures accurate and swift medication delivery
- Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens
- Supervises pharmacy technical staff
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited university with a pharmacy license in Alabama
- Completion of post-graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained by the end of the orientation period
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills necessary for working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to frequent changes in tasks
- Proficiency in mathematics essential
