Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day pharmacy operations in closed-door 340B Community Health Center Pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Manages pharmaceutical inventory and ensures the security of pharmacy facility.
- Dispenses medications and provides immunizations and patient counseling.
- Ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions.
- Supports the mission of organization and promotes utilization of available programs and grants to help eligible patients access affordable medications.
- Provides clinical pharmacy services, including targeted and comprehensive medication reviews for optimization of therapy.
- Works under collaborative practice protocols when applicable.
- Works closely with medical providers as part of the patient care team to improve health outcomes.
