About the role
Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will directly shape medication outcomes and revolutionize patient care. As a dedicated professional, you’ll provide essential therapy management and in-depth consultations, empowering patients to understand and benefit from their medication regimens. Responsibilities
- Engage with patients through outbound calls to provide personalized medication support, with an expectation of approximately 100 calls per day.
- Perform comprehensive medication reviews.
- Deliver medication therapy management services.
- Accurately and efficiently transcribe patient-specific prescription and diagnosis information, along with recommendations, into a web-based application to generate personalized patient documents.
- Participate in continuous learning and training sessions to enhance skills and stay current with best practices.
Requirements
- A current and valid Pharmacist License in good standing.
- At least 4 years of experience as a clinical professional specializing in medication therapy management.
- Familiarity with key quality measures related to medication use and patient safety.
- A strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical vocabulary.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in medication review processes.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology and various software applications.
- Self-directed and highly organized.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and a strong sense of urgency.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
- Must be able to work on a W-2 basis, as C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Management experience.
- Experience with customer relationship management software.
