We are seeking a Clinical Pathology Laboratory Assistant at our Safety Assessment site in Reno, NV.
Job Description
- Performs all tasks in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Limits to labeling tubes, devices, and containers.
- Performs laboratory set-up/clean-up.
- Maintains inventory, stocks, and cleans assigned areas.
- Prepares materials and data for shipment and archiving.
- Maintains disposition of tubes.
- Washes and dries laboratory supplies and distributes to appropriate locations within the laboratory.
- Fills and maintains data for department activities.
- May perform phlebotomy when appropriately certified.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
- Schedule: M-F, 8-5
- Starting Wage: $18
