About the role
The Clinical Partner (CP) role at Baptist Health involves providing basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks under the direction of a registered nurse. This position requires adherence to the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes, and BHSF policies.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks such as wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter.
- Works closely with the assigned RN to ensure safe and quality patient-centered care.
- Does not delegate assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, with preference given to those with previous experience in an acute care facility in Florida.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Basic Life Support certification.
