About the role
The Clinical Ops Support Specialist, within TSPMG’s Operations and Strategy department, is a contracted hourly position, reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, Operations and Strategy. The role involves managing patient referrals, ensuring high-quality patient care via timely access to services, and reviewing referrals against specialty-specific clinical pathways, within the context of service and access standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient referrals and ensure timely access to services
- Review referrals against specialty-specific clinical pathways
- Ensure compliance with service and access standards
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or other similar bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work within firm deadlines
- Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members
- Work experience in large multi-specialty medical group practices
- Experience in referral processing
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Qualifications
