About the role

The Clinical Ops Support Specialist, within TSPMG’s Operations and Strategy department, is a contracted hourly position, reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, Operations and Strategy. The role involves managing patient referrals, ensuring high-quality patient care via timely access to services, and reviewing referrals against specialty-specific clinical pathways, within the context of service and access standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient referrals and ensure timely access to services
  • Review referrals against specialty-specific clinical pathways
  • Ensure compliance with service and access standards
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or other similar bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work within firm deadlines
  • Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members
  • Work experience in large multi-specialty medical group practices
  • Experience in referral processing
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR system
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred

Qualifications
