About the Role

The Clinical Operations Assistant supports all administrative activities in the Skincare Clinical Research and Innovation Center (SCRIC), including scheduling, emailing, sending reminders, scanning, filing, printing study documents, organizing inventory, product ordering, chart preparation, room preparation, study product preparation, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for participant check-in/check-out and may assist with providing study forms to participants.
• Perform general sanitizing of treatment rooms, instrumentation, and high-touch surfaces before and after patient visits and whenever necessary.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering calls, responding to emails, sending appointment reminders, photocopying, filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
• Prepare treatment rooms, patient charts, and study product supplies.
• Maintain SCRIC Product Inventory and general supplies (including ordering, disposing, shipping, logging/tracking, and organizing).
• Support data entry activities.
• Support additional clinical activities such as arranging instrumentation servicing/maintenance, ordering subject compensation, providing eligible compensation to participants upon study completion, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; an associate degree may be considered with relevant experience.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within teams.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is preferred.
• Experience working in a medical office setting is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• General knowledge and application of regulatory guidelines governing clinical research (e.g., ICH guidelines, CFR) is preferred.

Pay

$20 to $22 an hour

Schedule

• 100% onsite
• 12-month contract (possibility of extension based on business needs and performance)
