About the role

The Clinical Operations Specialist 2 plays a crucial role in optimizing clinical workflows, exercising clinical judgment, building trusting relationships, supporting clinical compliance, and contributing to a positive team dynamic.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend practical solutions to improve medical record processing and intake protocols.
  • Apply sound judgment within established procedures to determine the appropriate next steps for patient scenarios.
  • Build relationships with peers and external partners, ensuring clear and aligned communication.
  • Contribute to a positive team dynamic by sharing updates clearly and adapting information to different audiences.
  • Mentor through feedback, integrating it into daily habits and sharing growth and learnings with peers.

Requirements

  • Typically 2+ years of experience in clinical operations, nursing support, case management, or healthcare administration.
  • A degree in a clinical field (RN, BSN) or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • Anticipate patient and team needs and take initiative to support them.
  • Use empathy to guide tone, timing, and operational decisions.
  • Flex your approach when new clinical challenges arise.
  • Treat every patient and teammate with patience and respect, centering the "human side" of healthcare.
  • Ensure diverse voices are heard and credit is given, actively checking for bias in actions and decisions.
  • Have a knack for troubleshooting, synthesizing imperfect information into actionable insights, and creatively solving problems.
  • Deep commitment to HIPAA, clinical quality standards, and handling sensitive medical information with integrity.
  • Receive predetermined work assignments and manage them with a moderate level of control, ensuring precision in clinical details.
