Clinical Operations Manager, Breast Imaging

Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for a dedicated Breast Imaging Center, combining leadership with direct patient care (50% clinical, 50% management)
- Optimize daily schedules to maximize staff productivity and resource utilization
- Supervise daily Breast Imaging operations and conduct staff meetings
- Manage workflow, human resources, time, equipment, and supplies effectively
- Control clinical expenses and resulting net income
- Perform mammography procedures
- Recruit, coach, and develop clinical staff
- Ensure staff perform satisfactorily and add value to center productivity
- Address employee questions, issues, and concerns as the first point of contact
- Conduct annual (and periodic) performance evaluations and align compensation with contributions
- Ensure productivity, staffing efficiency, and operational performance
- Participate in capital planning and equipment replacement decisions
- Monitor center revenue, profitability, budgets, and expenses
- Maintain referral source relationships to align clinical outcomes with physician and patient needs
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to maximize center opportunities
- Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards
- Lead accreditation, inspections, and audit readiness
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT registered
- Must complete required CEUs in a timely manner to maintain active certification(s)
- Certified in Mammography, in addition to X-RAY
- Knowledge of diagnostic mammography procedures and standards
- Skilled in operating equipment across multiple modalities
- 8 years of experience in area of specialization
- 3+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)
- Registry in Breast Ultrasound (preferred)
