About the role
The Clinical Operations Coordinator provides administrative support to several of DonorConnect's clinical operations teams as part of the Administration Department. This role encompasses both tactical and operational responsibilities, facilitating smooth operations and fostering effective collaboration.Responsibilities
- Supports the administration and data tracking for clinical operations teams
- Assists with special projects and department goals
- Facilitates smooth operations and fosters effective collaboration within and among supported departments, which may include Aftercare, Donor Family Services, Organ Recovery, Organ Referral, Recovery, & Organ Utilization Services, Professional Education/Hospital Services, Surgical Services, Tissue Donation, & Tissue Recovery Services, and Transportation Services
- This position is a 36 hour work week and requires an onsite presence in Murray, UT
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of administrative support experience, preferably within healthcare or an organ procurement organization
- Strong skills with software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible team player
- Well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
- Flexible, willing to assist others
- Able to function and complete work with competing priorities and expectations
- Sensitive with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work well independently and to prioritize work
- Sensitive to HIPAA requirements and able to maintain confidentiality
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Technical and administrative support training preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of standard computer and office equipment
- Knowledgeable about HIPAA requirements
