About the role
Oncology Nurse Coordinator position at Alton Memorial Hospital (program through WashU at Memorial Hospital Belleville). Full‑time, benefits‑eligible role working five 8‑hour shifts (8:00 am‑4:30 pm) with no call, weekends, nights, or holidays.
Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical, surgical, critical, emergency, pediatric, heart and vascular services. It is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, a Lung Cancer Screening Center, and a Magnet‑recognized organization for nursing excellence. Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94‑bed all‑private suite hospital, also holds Magnet status and provides emergency, labor & delivery, nursery, medical/surgical and critical care.
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
