Clinical Nursing Instructor (RN) Part-Time - Northern Idaho

Shape the future of nursing by joining Joyce University as a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty Member in the Lewiston - Coeur d'Alene region. This part-time role (1–2 clinical shifts per week, per academic term) offers the opportunity to mentor and teach the next generation of nurses in real-world clinical settings within a supportive, forward-thinking academic community.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through hands-on clinical instruction in local healthcare facilities
• Inspire, mentor, and evaluate future nursing professionals
• Support student learning by identifying academic or behavioral challenges and offering remediation
• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and program improvement
• Maintain professional growth and stay current with best practices in clinical care
• Participate in university events including staff meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation

Requirements

• RN license (unencumbered) in the State of Idaho
• Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN and either in an MSN program or willing to begin one also considered)
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of teaching experience

Pay

$43–$48 per hour
