We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist – Adult Medicine to join the team at MaineHealth. The successful candidate will bring expertise in clinical nursing, patient care, and education to support the clinical staff, patients, and families at MaineHealth.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Knowledge of Nursing theory, practice and education in order to conduct patient assessments, develop and coordinate complex plans of care and to develop educational programs at a level acquired through completion of a Master's Degree in an advanced practice clinical nursing specialty.
Licenses/Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine and license for advanced practice in nursing if available. Certification in clinical specialty at the advance practice level (if applicable) is required.
Experience: Two to three years of clinical experience in assigned specialty area. A high level of critical thinking skills, process and problem solving skills, and systems knowledge necessary for participation in clinical initiatives. Interpersonal, communication and leadership skills sufficient to lead individuals and groups.
