Clinical Nurse Specialist - Radiology - CNS

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired patient outcomes in a designated population/specialty practice.
• Functions as a leader within the three spheres of influence (Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, Organization/System).
• Is an active participant in the nursing leadership team.
• Provides support to the Department of Radiology, Interventional Radiology, and other initiatives led by the Department of Nursing (DON).

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a major in nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist focus.
• Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree preferred.
• Experience as a CNS preferred.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and CNS workload.
• Five years of successful work experience in nursing with two years in the specialty area preferred.
