Responsibilities
- Function as an expert clinical nurse resource assisting team members, physicians, patients, and the community in new or complex interventions
- Act as a role model by demonstrating current trends and providing professional development opportunities for team members
- Independently develop, implement, and evaluate an educational plan to meet the needs of team members
- Actively participate in the research process and utilize the information to further enhance patient care
- Function in the role of the clinical nurse specialist to nursing staff, administrators, physicians, and the community
- Facilitate patient teaching and support programs utilizing the nursing process
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License in the State of New Jersey required
- MSN or Master's Degree in a health-related field required
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification is required
- NICU Experience required
- NRP certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
- Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification preferred
- Nurse educator experience strongly preferred
- National certification strongly preferred
Pay
Minimum rate of $55.09 hourly. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package. The base compensation determined at the time of the offer may differ based on factors including labor market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, budget, and grant funding.
