About the role
Join UCLA Health and serve as the clinical nursing leader for the Liver & Intestinal Transplant Program within a Magnet®-recognized academic health system. The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides advanced clinical expertise, consultation, education, mentorship, and leadership to promote excellence in patient care, nursing practice, and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and evaluates evidence-based care strategies, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development programs.
- Influences practice across the patient/family, nursing, and organizational spheres while advancing transplant nursing through innovation, education, and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- CA RN – REQUIRED.
- CA CNS – REQUIRED
- National certification in area of specialty – REQUIRED.
- CNS Advanced Practice Certification preferred.
- Master’s in Nursing – REQUIRED
- Minimum 5-years recent RN experience, including 3-years recent RN experience in clinical specialty – REQUIRED
- One year CNS experience in clinical specialty preferred.
Qualifications
- Salary: $144,400 – $341,800 Annually
