About the role
This position serves as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Heart & Vascular Services, acting as a clinical expert to promote evidence-based practice and support staff, patients, families, and physicians. Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, consulting on patient management, delivering educational services to improve healthcare quality, supporting clinical development, and conducting research.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Heart & Vascular patient care
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Lead clinical practice improvements and scientific investigations
- Provide consultation and direct care management
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited CNS program
- RN licensure with certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing, charge, or leadership experience; preferred: 2–5 years of experience and a doctorate in Nursing
- Strong knowledge of clinical practice, research, and education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
