Clinical Nurse RN position in the Critical Care Unit (ICU) at University Health Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Part-time role with a schedule of 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 24 hours per week.
About the role
We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team, providing top-notch care to patients dealing with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs
- Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using expert skills
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes
- Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education
- Supervise and mentor students
- Maintain compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Missouri state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BCLS certification
- For PRN positions: At least one year of NICU experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent specialty degree (preferred)
- RN Specialty Certification (preferred)
