Clinical Nurse - Outpatient Gastroenterology

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.Maintain safety-sensitive standards, working in a constant state of alertness and safety awareness. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Active RN license required.No prior experience needed; 2+ years of experience preferred for advanced roles.Cross-training as a GI Tech is required; GI experience is preferred. This role does not require call duties or weekend work, with 8-hour shifts.
