About the role
Under the supervision of the Director, provides clinical and administrative support to staff delivering direct and indirect care to patients on a specific unit or units. Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the programmatic, operational, and financial management of the unit/program, including quality and safety, patient experience, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Interviews, hires, assigns work to, and evaluates the performance of supervised employees.
- Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BSN required.
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Two (2) years of experience as an RN.
- Critical Care experience preferred.
- Progressive management experience preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time, on-site role.
- Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
Pay
Minimum salary: $46.12 per hour.
Work Location: TGH Main Campus, Tampa General Hospital.
