Clinical Nurse - Inpatient Psych

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family‑centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures communication of care plans across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic care by assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and families.
• Participate in activities to promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Support a healing environment through patient education on post‑treatment care, medication administration, and recovery processes.
• Work in a safety‑sensitive capacity, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
