Responsibilities
- Work reciprocally with other members of the perioperative team
- Implement the nursing process for surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in an acute and critical 24-hour setting
- Safely recover post-operative patients of varying ages emerging from anesthesia
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to provide high-quality, evidence-based, and safe patient care
- Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education and post-operative clinical assessments
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including medication usage and wound care prior to discharge
Qualifications
- NYS RN license, BSN
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Minimum of 1.5+ years of related clinical experience in acute care
- Critical care experience and related certification highly preferred

Additional Information
- Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065
- Schedule: 12-hours shift flexed from 8am to midnight Monday through Saturday with weekend rotation required. This position requires a 13-shift schedule per month.

- Pay Range: $113,100.00 - $180,900.00
- FSLA Status: Exempt
