About the role

We are seeking a performance-driven, proven, and ambitious Clinical Educator to deliver educational support and training to Healthcare Professionals and other office staff within oncology facilities/offices in order to meet all relevant standards as set by the company/client and Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide education through in-services (account calls) to HCPs and HCP staff on Product specific information including but not limited to Product information, disease state information, dosing protocols and information, administration of product, and adverse events of Product.
  • To present educational programs to Healthcare Professionals in accordance with the needs of each office.
  • Engage in Program related communications with client’s field-based sales force (representatives and district managers).
  • Communicate to the Manager any concerns identified during the in-service education process.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of all visits, including but not limited to the type of education conducted, length of visit, and office that was visited.
  • Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel to oncology offices with client Sales Representatives.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers.
  • Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments that Inizio or the Client requires, to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe.
  • Attend local and national meetings and/or conferences, as required, to keep abreast of plans, activities and developments and to exchange knowledge and experience within the team.
  • Maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions.
  • Comply with all Inizio Policies and Procedures, along with all Client Policies and Procedures as required.
  • Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by applicable state laws.
  • To possess a full valid US driver’s license at all times and to notify the company immediately of any offences or accumulation of penalty points.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Active nursing license to be in good standing in at least one state in which the in-services are being conducted.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of oncology nursing experience that includes, but is not limited to, direct patient care, physical assessment, patient education, group in servicing, and proficiency in peripheral IV access.
  • Chemotherapy infusion experience required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable organizational skills and/or previous territory management is preferred.
  • A self-starter with high personal motivation.
  • Valid motor vehicle license and proof of insurance. Ability to travel, including overnight travel.

Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct one on one and group presentations, manage administrative responsibilities consistent with a field-based territory management position.
  • Certification in IV Therapy (CRNI) preferred.
  • Adult oncology experience.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $84K – $156K per year.

Schedule

The amount of travel varies by territory but may be up to 100% travel.
