Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Responsible for professional accountability and development.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• At least 18 months RN acute care experience required
• At least 1 year RN Mother/Baby experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• BLS NRP certification

Schedule

• Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM
• Shift: Shift 1 (Days)
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No
• Remote work: Never
• Nursing Department Pool Commitment: Minimum of 4 shifts per every 6 weeks; One Saturday and one Sunday per 6 week schedule; One Summer and one Winter Holiday.
