About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, overseeing unit functions during their shift. They collaborate with management to monitor and evaluate nursing care, serve as a resource for staff, and promote a positive patient experience aligned with organizational values.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient throughput and care quality.
- Participate in assessing and improving the quality of patient services.
- Foster teamwork and support a patient-first philosophy, engaging in service recovery when needed.
- Support nursing strategies to improve staff engagement, including rounding initiatives.
- Contribute to staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring inventory control.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
