About the role

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in Acute Inpatient Telemetry, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team. You will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage," while acting as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit to ensure quality patient care.
  • Provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related criteria for the appropriate age populations.
  • Deliver professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
  • Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
  • American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification required.
  • 1-year of clinical Telemetry experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting (e.g., Medical Surgical, Med/Surg, Med-Tele, Medical Telemetry, Cardiac).

Schedule

3 days per week, 7p-7a with rotating weekends.
