Job Functions
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

- Learns and complies with System and facility safety policies and rules; uses appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; reports all unsafe conditions to supervisors; checks with supervisors before using equipment.

- Represents the organization positively within the community; participates in company-supported community/patient events and in-services.
- Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Supports the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate's, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse required.
- Two to five (2-5) years of ICU experience as a licensed Registered Nurse highly preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License required (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.

What you will need
