About the role

The Clinical Coordinator, LDRP position at Highland Park Hospital is a full-time, night shift role. The hourly pay range is $43.69 - $67.72, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as role model for clinical excellence for all members of the clinical care delivery team.
  • Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring, and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
  • Takes lead on clinical performance improvement management.
  • Communicates and collaborates with managing physicians, house staff, mid-level practitioners, nursing and other health care team members to achieve desired outcomes for the plan of care and for discharge.
  • Determines staffing based on patient acuity and workflow.
  • Assumes direct patient care responsibility, as needed, based on acuity and changes in patient condition and workflow.

Requirements

  • License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL preferred.
  • Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing required from an accredited nursing school. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business or other health related field preferred.
  • Certification: CPR Card BLS from the AHA.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an appropriate clinical setting required, proven leadership skills. Must have mother baby and labor and delivery experience.
