Clinical Nurse Coordinator - LDRP - Nights
About the role
The Clinical Coordinator, LDRP position at Highland Park Hospital is a full-time, night shift role. The hourly pay range is $43.69 - $67.72, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Acts as role model for clinical excellence for all members of the clinical care delivery team.
- Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring, and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
- Takes lead on clinical performance improvement management.
- Communicates and collaborates with managing physicians, house staff, mid-level practitioners, nursing and other health care team members to achieve desired outcomes for the plan of care and for discharge.
- Determines staffing based on patient acuity and workflow.
- Assumes direct patient care responsibility, as needed, based on acuity and changes in patient condition and workflow.
Requirements
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL preferred.
- Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing required from an accredited nursing school. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business or other health related field preferred.
- Certification: CPR Card BLS from the AHA.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an appropriate clinical setting required, proven leadership skills. Must have mother baby and labor and delivery experience.
