About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees unit functions during their shift. Collaborating with management, they monitor, evaluate, and support nursing care in line with policies, serving as a resource for staff and promoting a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient flow.
- Assess and improve the quality of care provided in the unit.
- Foster teamwork and support service recovery efforts.
- Implement nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement.
- Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Manage staff scheduling, inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications
- RN licensure with required certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and others within specified timeframes.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or equivalent, or a Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
Skills
