Responsibilities

• Prepares specimens according to standard protocols and procedures
• Performs laboratory tests and calculations
• Evaluates test performance and results
• Maintains and monitors laboratory equipment
• Performs phlebotomy procedures as needed
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Work Experience: None required
• Certifications: Current license or temporary license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Specialist, ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist

• Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and patient information retrieval

• Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard
