Clinical Medical Assisting Instructor (Weekday Substitute)

A Clinical Medical Assisting Instructor at our fast-growing educational organization will prepare and deliver lectures, lead hands-on skills labs, and maintain accurate student records in a joyful, supportive environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook.
• Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
• Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and paperwork, including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct, and recording and reporting of grades.
• Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session, including handling student payments and accepting student documentation.
• Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located.
• Follow the curriculum as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state.

• Comprehensive: Be punctual, prepared for class, and comfortable presenting material while managing class time to cover all required content within state-regulated time requirements.
• Process Oriented: Follow specific procedures and processes as outlined by the school.
• Receptive: Ask for help when needed, accept feedback openly, and use it to learn and grow.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as a Medical Assistant or similar/more advanced practice (PCA, EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

$20 - $24 per hour, depending on experience.
