About the role

Intuitive Health pioneered the combined emergency room and urgent care model, partnering with leading health systems to build and operate retail healthcare facilities that integrate urgent care and emergency services. The Clinical Manager will lead non-physician clinical staff in collaboration with the Program Director and hospital partner to deliver patient-centered care, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage non-physician clinical staff in coordination with the Program Director and hospital leadership
  • Recruit, onboard, and train clinical staff in partnership with the hospital
  • Schedule clinical staff and assist with performance evaluations using hospital tools and timelines
  • Provide ongoing leadership training and mentorship to clinical staff
  • Collaborate with Program Director, Medical Director, and other managers to implement quality assurance and performance improvement processes
  • Generate quarterly performance reports for the site
  • Champion a positive, patient-focused culture for non-physician clinical employees
  • Support regulatory and accreditation readiness and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a customer-focused, respectful, and clean work environment, including tasks such as emptying trash, mopping floors, and cleaning counters
  • Participate in applicable committees as requested

Requirements

  • ADN or BSN required; BSN strongly preferred (mandatory with some hospital partners)
  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills across organizations
  • Self-driven with initiative, independence, and curiosity
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to shifting priorities
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of management or charge nurse experience within the emergency department
  • Unrestricted registered nursing license
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS or ENPC certification

Physical demands

The role regularly requires talking and hearing. Intermittent physical activity includes standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The position may involve lifting up to 25 pounds. The job operates in a healthcare setting where employees may routinely encounter patients with contagious illnesses, moderate noise from equipment and phones, and exposure to moving mechanical parts or toxic materials.
