Clinical Manager - Minimally Invasive Surgical Support

About the Role
As a Clinical Manager, Minimally Invasive Surgical Support, you will lead and manage the day-to-day efforts of the minimally invasive team at your facility. Your responsibilities include ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to the highest quality and compliance standards. You will assemble surgical trays according to each surgeon’s unique preferences, ensure instruments meet quality standards, and work alongside Clinical Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Assure departmental operations comply with standards set by regulatory agencies (e.g., state Department of Health, Joint Commission).
- Manage staff, including scheduling, time approval, hiring, and corrective action as needed.
- Provide comprehensive departmental orientation for new personnel and ensure ongoing training for existing staff.
- Develop and implement departmental performance improvement activities, ensuring staff participation.
- Establish and maintain internal inventory levels, par level stocks, and monitor proper utilization.
- Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program for equipment in coordination with hospital departments.
- Provide instructions and in-service training on new products, procedures, and equipment to prevent resource loss and maintain safety.
- Implement and reinforce SpecialtyCare’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Meet regularly with the SpecialtyCare regional management team to discuss issues, successes, and opportunities for improved service.
- Perform other duties and work on special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent, preferred.
- Three years of management experience in a clinical setting.
- Ability to teach and demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.
