About the role
CBI is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency providing various programs across Arizona. Services include residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services for individuals dealing with crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed clinical staff as defined by 4 A.A.C 6.
- Deliver required clinical trainings during New Employee orientation (NEO) and throughout the year.
- Work with the Clinical Director to develop clinical trainings based on identified needs to improve clinical competencies and service delivery.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled clinical staffing and consultations to assigned clinical teams, including during on-call shifts.
- Review and provide feedback on Behavioral Health Assessments and Risk Assessments to staff.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Clinical Operations team to ensure clinical programming and services are effective, efficient, and aligned with CBI policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a field related to behavioral health and licensed at the associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor.
- One to three years of full-time Behavioral Health Care related work experience preferred but not required.
- Licensed at the Associate or Independent level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor.
- Fingerprint clearance card required.
- Current AZ Driving License.
- Clear 39-month motor vehicle record.
Qualifications
- Experience in both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of clinical policy and procedure, Arizona Administrative Code, ADHS/DBHS Provider Manual, Code of Federal Regulations, and contract requirements.
Skills

- Knowledge of evidence-based models in behavioral health.
