Pay
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week); fewer hours will be prorated. Pay ranges are determined by experience and company equity:
- Licensed Psychologist: $119,392.42 - $142,352.50 per year
- Licensed Therapist: $79,814.59 - $109,219.97 per year
Responsibilities
- Lead employees, maintaining team focus and direction; hire, provide performance feedback, coaching, and terminate employees in accordance with organizational guidance.
- Monitor work schedules, approve time-off requests based on staffing needs, and manage workload volumes.
- Communicate with external stakeholders regarding team accountability.
- Cascade information from senior leadership to lower levels in alignment with organizational strategy and goals.
- Design and implement effective group and intergroup work and communication expectations.
- Define and monitor group-level performance indicators; diagnose and resolve problems within and among work groups.
- Arrange and provide appropriate training and clinical supervision to staff to improve clinical skills.
- Work cooperatively with all staff to ensure smooth client transitions between services, including referrals and case assignments.
- Handle client and community agency complaints efficiently and satisfactorily.
- Develop new services to meet unmet or underserved community needs.
- Ensure clinical and fiscal paperwork and online clinical records are completed accurately and promptly.
- Interact with community agencies to improve services and enhance the organization’s image as a competent mental health provider.
- Advocate for the organization’s services in the community and at the state level, as appropriate.
- Ensure revenues for services are documented, billable, and funding sources are known to the billing office.
- Understand and adhere to program budgets.
- Complete care coordination tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a license-eligible field.
- Current Colorado licensure required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist (PhD or PsyD). Licensure from another state is acceptable if the candidate is in the process of obtaining Colorado licensure and will receive it within six months of hire.
- Three years of experience working with the population served by the clinical area of responsibility, including administrative experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a driving record that meets organization requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of theoretical issues related to clinical treatment and a treatment philosophy consistent with the organization’s goals.
- Excellent management and communication skills.
- Trained and experienced in screening, assessment, and treatment of mental health and substance abuse concerns.
- Annual influenza vaccination and negative TB test required before the first day of work (medical and religious exemptions available).
