About the role

The Clinical Nurse Leader (RN) serves as a clinical expert and key leader within the unit, driving excellence in patient care, staff development, and evidence-based practice. They partner with nursing leadership to anticipate patient needs, improve outcomes, and enhance the patient experience.

The role involves providing clinical expertise, leading quality improvement initiatives, analyzing care trends, and supporting operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for nursing staff
• Promote evidence-based care and patient safety
• Address staff education needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Current RN license in Florida
• MSN or enrolled in an MSN program
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Demonstrated autonomous practice and leadership skills
• National nursing certification required within 6 months of hire
