Role Overview: This position involves performing routine and complex laboratory procedures in the virology department, ensuring accurate test results to support patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess specimen acceptability based on established testing criteriaConduct technical procedures following standard operating proceduresOperate, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on laboratory instrumentationPrepare and evaluate reagents and quality control materialsReport timely and precise test results to aid clinical decision-making Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technologyPreferred: minimum three months of clinical testing experiencePreferred: certification from ASCP or AMTAbility to pass standardized color blindness testProficiency with computers and laboratory information systemsStrong attention to detail and effective communication skills
