Role Overview: The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring accurate reporting of test results to support patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess specimen acceptability based on quality criteriaPerform routine and complex lab procedures following protocolsOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentsPrepare, test, and evaluate reagents and quality control materialsConduct preventive maintenance and document quality control activities Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyAt least one year of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS certificationPreferred certification: ASCP or AMTKnowledge of laboratory information systemsProficiency with computers, strong attention to detailAbility to pass standardized color blindness testCapable of working independently and collaboratively
